Dhulikhel:
       Dhulikhel is situated 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu on the side of the Arniko Highway (built by the Chinese Government) and only 3 kilometers of Banapa. It is a small town but nonetheless an interesting one, and of the best vantage points to view the great range of mountain to the north. Many visitors gather on the parade ground of Dhulikhel to see the mountains.

      There are many resorts and many visitors stay overnight here in order to set out for the Namo Buddha Trek (five hours) early the next day. Dhulikhel is also the district headhunters, so there is a number of government offices stretched out in the eastern section of the old city. Inside old Dhulikhel Bazer you can walk through fine old Newari buildings and several interesting temples. There is another temple of Shiva near the Parade ground at the end of the government offices.

Palanchowk Bhagawati:
There is an idol of there feet high goddess Bhagawati artistically carved in a black stone in Palanchowk. It is one of the famous temples of goddess for Buddhist and Hindus. This temple is believed to have been constructed during the reign of King Man Dev. It is situated at 7 kilometers north of Panchkhal 15 kilometers of Dhulikhel on the Arniko Highway (Highway to Tibet border). One can really enjoy the panoramic views of landscape from this vantage point. It is 42 kilometers about two hours drive from Kathmandu to Palanchowk. There are few resorts where you can relax and enjoy spectacular Nepalese panoramas of the Himalayan and the countryside.
